                                                                                      Chapter four


Naruto found himself in the last place he EVER wanted to be, Kyuubi’s cell. The thing was staring at him, its eyes filled with hatred and anger, as usual, Naruto was becoming frustrated… the fox would have talked by now… or done SOMETHING… he decided to break the silence in the classiest way that he knew…

“WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT?” Naruto shouted at the beast. The Kyuubi simply cocked one eye in amusement, and continued staring. Naruto decided that he wasn’t going to get anything out of it that way, so, built up some chakra in his right hand… and ran at the cage with a slightly larger than usual rasengan in his hand and pushed it at the massive creature in his mind… only to be whipped across the room by one of its huge tails. The Kyuubi took one more glance at the blonde idiot that was his host before lying down and closing its eyes.

{You caused me quite a lot of problems today kit, I think it’s about time I returned the favor…} The Kyuubi grumbled. Naruto found that his surroundings were changing… the Kyuubi was making him relive parts of his childhood, but he didn’t do anything to try and escape it, he came to the conclusion that there was nothing he could do to stop it when he first did it him… ten years ago.

“Damn you, you sadistic BASTARD!!! WHEN I GET OUT I’M GUNNA KICK THE SHIT OUT OF YOU!!!” Naruto finished just as the darkness engulfed him.

Hinata had just come back from telling Kiba and Shino that something was wrong with Naruto and that they would meet them here later… if he was better. So she sat cross-legged on her bed with his head in her lap again, she was reading a book on different colored chakra she already knew that humans had blue chakra, but the chakra she saw was purple! There was nothing in the book about purple chakra, but there was almost any other color including pink! Then she remembered what Naruto’s eyes looked like, red and blue flames dancing around where his “whites” should have been… she quickly flipped through the book… to the page on red chakra... and started reading…

     “The Bijuu, the great tailed daemons of old, are the only beings on earth that may possess red colored chakra, when a Bijuu is sealed inside a human host , (a Jinchuuriki) the host’s chakra remains the same, UNLESS the Bijuu’s negative energies are called upon for power, in which case the Jinchuriki’s  output chakra is entirely red. If the host somehow produces chakra equal to the amount that the Bijuu is producing, then there is a chance that the chakra may mingle and change color…”

She gasped, dropping the book onto Naruto’s face, ‘Naruto has a Bijuu Inside of him? B-But their so evil, while he’s kind and loving… there’s no way! I won’t believe it!’ “MY NARUTO IS NOT A MONSTER!!” she suddenly shouted out loud.

Naruto was blinking underneath the book that had been dropped on his head “Huh? What’s this?” he asked, sitting up from her lap. He read the cover of the book, “The Theory of Different Colored Chakra? Why are you reading… oh, so you saw eh?” Naruto said, bowing his head.
Hinata nodded slowly, “Hai, I saw what happened this morning, I…I saw your purple chakra Naruto, and when I read the book it said that only Jinchuuriki could have chakra that color…”

Naruto ducked his head lower, “I guess you deserve to know the truth, even if you hate me after, you should know what I REALLY am…”  He spent an hour telling the story that Jiraiya had told him, of how he was born an orphan and how he had the demon fox sealed inside him.

Hinata was wide eyed, ‘He has the Kyuubi no Kitsune sealed inside of him?’ Naruto raised his head “I’m sorry Hinata… I am a monster… and I’ll understand if you hate me for the rest of my life, you’ve been kind enough to accept me so far, but you’ll probably hate me, everyone else would” he closed his eyes tightly and braced himself to be punched or slapped or yelled at, but instead he felt two warm arms wrap around him. He opened his eyes to see the smiling face of his love. “You’re not gunna hit me? Or even yell at me?” he asked, confused that he wasn’t a big bloody mess already.

She shook her head, tightening the hug she was giving him, “I told you already Naruto, I’ll always love you… no matter what…” She replied softly. “But how can you even stand to look at me? I’m a mons…”  He was cut off by her lips pressed against his. She slowly broke the kiss and placed her finger on his lips, keeping him quiet. “You are not a monster! You are Naruto Uzumaki! You are the future Hokage! You are the man I love, and I am not going to let you call yourself a monster! The only monster here is the village! To hate a young innocent boy for doing nothing but keeping them safe the demon inside of you… THEY are the monsters here Naruto… not you.”

Naruto felt tears well up in his eyes again, not only did she love and accept him… she did even though she knew he had the demon-fox in side of him! He tried his hardest not to cry but tears still made their way down his face, he smiled, and hugged her back, resting his chin on top of her head “Thanks again… Hina-Chan… I really do love you…” he whispered. She nuzzled his neck “I love you too Naru-kun…”

They sat there in each other’s arms for ten minutes before Hinata reluctantly pulled away “We should go see Kiba and Shino-kun now… Naru-kun…” She said slowly. He nodded “Yeah… we don’t wanna keep them waiting eh?” She nodded as well “Hai”.

He stood up from where he was sitting and helped her to her feet. She interlaced her fingers with his as they walked to the door.  Naruto stopped and turned to her… he stroked her cheek “You’re so beautiful Hina-chan!” He said happily. Hinata blushed, “Arigoto Naru-kun…” They opened the door and where bathed in the Sun’s glorious rays…
